Photos: No injuries in early-morning house explosion in Sedalia

DENVER (KDVR) — The Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported explosion at about 3:15 a.m. in Sedalia with multiple fire agencies.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office reported that the incident occurred at a property on Platte Avenue in Sedalia. When units arrived on scene they found a house and RV on fire.

Deputies reported that they began evacuating nearby houses while fire departments began fire suppression efforts.

No injuries were reported as of 8:23 a.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by West Douglas Fire, South Metro Fire Rescue and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
