Pikes Peak or Bust Parade features stick horse races

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Saturday, July 6 the Pikes Peak or Bust Parade will roll through downtown Colorado Springs before the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo begins at the Norris Penrose Event Center on Tuesday, July 9.

The parade will include a stick horse race for kids, along with races with City and County officials and Media Outlets. At 10 a.m. the 81st annual parade begins along Tejon Street, with a Street Sweeper Dress Up Review happening during the parade.

The event is free to the public, with registration for the Lil’ Cowpokes Stick Horse Race being $15 per child in advance and $20 per child on the day of the race.
