COLORADO SPRINGS — Platte Avenue is shut down near Acacia Park due to a shooting, the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is reporting.

CSPD posted about the incident on Twitter, and said Platte is closed in both directions to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic between Tejon Street and Nevada Avenue due to a shooting.
