Plow crews prepare for afternoon and evening snow

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The City of Colorado Springs said that snow plow crews are preparing for snow that is expected to start at midday and peak by late afternoon on Saturday, Feb. 15.

According to the city, the primary focus is expected to be on the northern I-25 corridor and Palmer Divide as the snow showers move from north to south. Impacts to roadways are expected as the temperatures drop into the evening.

Evening crews will continue to monitor the roadways, covering primary and secondary routes to ensure safety and efficient operations. Sunday morning, crews will be on standby as there is expected to be a brief break in the stormy weather.
