(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is asking the public to avoid the area of North Academy Boulevard and Constitution Avenue due to police activity.

FOX21’s crew on the scene captured photos from the area around 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27. Officers were seen outside an apartment complex off East La Salle Street and Dixon Drive.
