(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is investigating a suspicious incident Saturday afternoon, July 29.

Shortly after 2:40 p.m., a community alert reporting a suspicious incident in the area of 4331 North Chestnut Street was sent by CSPD.

The public was asked to stay indoors and away from windows or doors. The shelter-in-place was lifted at approximately 3:55 p.m.
