(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) is investigating a body found near Fountain Creek north of east Highway 50.

According to PPD, the body was discovered shortly before noon on Wednesday, March 20, in the 600 block of Hunter Drive, northeast of I-25 and east Highway 50. PPD said it was unclear if the body was found in or near Fountain Creek.

The body has not yet been identified, though the investigation continues. Police do not believe there is any threat to the community.
