PPSC and D11 partner up to support future teachers

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Pikes Peak State College (PPSC) and Colorado Springs School District 11 (D11) are teaming up to strengthen pathways for aspiring educators in the region.

According to PPSC, on Wednesday, May 7, PPSC and D11 formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that solidifies a shared commitment to preparing the next generation of teachers with aligned academic programming, dual enrollment opportunities, and seamless transition from high school to college.

“This is a foundational partnership,” said Michael Gaal, Superintendent of D11. “Together, we are building systems that empower students to pursue careers in education, right here in our community.”

“This collaboration represents a strong, shared vision for developing educators from within our local talent pool,” said Dr. Lance Bolton, President of PPSC. “It’s exciting to see this work come to life for our students.”
