Public meeting to fight human trafficking

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Human Trafficking Task Force of Southern Colorado is hosting a free meeting on Tuesday, April 9, and would like to invite the public to attend.

The meetings are held every second Tuesday of the month at 5:45 p.m. at Reclaiming Hope, located at 615 Wooten Road, Suite 140 in Colorado Springs.

This month’s meeting features Mandie Hoehne, from Reclaiming Hope, who will discuss their Survivor Care Program. “Reclaiming Hope is an anti-trafficking organization… and we give ‘Hope Bags’ all across the nation to those who are at the first point of contact and we also work with local survivors,” said Hoehne.
