(PUEBLO, Colo.) — An agent with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has resigned after being cited for bigamy by the 4th Judicial District Attorney’s (DA) Office.

The CBI said it has accepted the resignation of Pueblo-based agent Joe Somosky in lieu of termination following an internal investigation. Somosky was reportedly charged with bigamy on July 20, and the CBI said it placed him on administrative leave as soon as it became aware of the charges.
