(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Chile Balloon Festival is kicking off and celebrating its 30th anniversary starting Friday morning, Sept. 20.

Hot air balloons will fill the sky again from Sept. 20 through Sept. 22. Each morning at 6:35 a.m., 30 balloons will launch from the Langoni Soccer fields at 24th and High Street. Individuals are invited to come and enjoy the balloons as they inflate and lift off.

Attendees and kids are welcome to get close to the balloons, some even have trading cards or stickers of their balloons to share. Food trucks will be onside with items such as caffeine, donuts, and breakfast burritos.

In the evenings, the Riverwalk Glow is back. The Xfinity, Pepsi, and Chick-fil-A balloons will be inflating and “glowing” on the riverwalk lawns on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

All balloon events are weather-permitting, they need calm weather and gentle breezes to be able to fly.
