“We know many of our residents are cleaning up debris and damage to their yards or property as a result of the microburst we experienced on Tuesday this week, so we want to offer a free drop-off location to discard of waste,” said the Director of Pueblo Public Works Andrew Hayes. “The location will be open to residents of Pueblo throughout the weekend so that it is convenient while they clean up from the storm.”
Trees, branches, and limbs are all able to be dropped off, no other waste will be accepted. The city said it would not accept commercial waste and large or commercial vehicles may be turned away. After-hours dumping will also not be accepted.
“We hope our residents will take advantage of this free opportunity to dispose of their limb and branch debris while this location is open,” said Hayes.
