Pueblo invites Buc-ee’s to consider new location

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The City of Pueblo is throwing its Buc-ee’s hat into the ring by inviting the company to consider Pueblo as an alternative to the original location near Palmer Lake.

Buc-ee’s has been trying to bring a second location to Colorado, but the proposed location near Palmer Lake has been met with pushback by those living in the area. On Oct. 2, the Town of Palmer Lake’s Board of Trustees voted to send the decision to annex 25 acres for the proposed travel center.

On Tuesday, Oct. 14 Pueblo City Council voted on a resolution to show its support for the prospect of a Buc-ee’s travel center locating within City limits and to work with Buc-ee’s to identify a suitable site, expedite necessary reviews, and promote the success of such a project in Pueblo.
