(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The City of Pueblo will be swearing in its newest mayor, Heather Graham, on Thursday, Feb. 1, at noon. The ceremony will take place outside City Hall, in the south-facing parking lot near the picturesque Riverwalk of Pueblo.

The ceremony comes after Graham triumphed over incumbent Nick Gradisar with an impressive 62% to 38% margin in the recent election. Notably, Pueblo voters chose Gradisar as its first elected mayor in over 80 years in 2019 under the new strong mayor system.

Graham will take the oath of office once the election results are officially certified by the Election Board. Having previously served on the Pueblo City Council, Graham’s ascent to the mayoral position signals a new era for the city.
