(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) said officers are investigating a suspicious death in the morning hours of Tuesday, Dec. 24.

According to PPD, on Tuesday around 11:15 a.m. officers were called to the 2300 block of Main Street off of West 23rd Street about a suspicious death when officers arrived on scene and started an investigation with the help of PPD’s Special Victims Unit and Crime Scene Investigations.

The identity of the body will be identified by the Pueblo County Coroner after appropriate notifications. PPD said the investigation is active and ongoing.
