Pueblo shooting leads to one woman injured, one dead

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) received a report of a shooting around 9:30 p.m. on Friday, June 28, at the 300 block of East Northern Avenue, near Berwind Avenue, that led to the death of one woman.

According to PPD, when officers responded to the location, they located two adult female victims with injuries. One had non-life-threatening injuries, while the other suffered from serious, life-threatening injuries. Both were transported to the hospital, where the victim who had been seriously injured later died. The death is being investigated as a homicide.
