(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Zoo is letting the public know that a peacock seen roaming near the zoo is not one of theirs.

On Tuesday, April 29, the Pueblo Zoo posted on Facebook that a peacock roaming near Thatcher Avenue and the Pueblo Zoo was being reported to the zoo. The zoo said this is not a zoo animal, but appreciates the concern from the community.

The Pueblo Zoo said if you live in the area and are aware of one of your neighbors with a peacock to check in with them.
