(COLORADO SPRINGS) — FOX21 News is excited to welcome Rachel Saurer back to the family in her new role as Evening Anchor along with Scott Kilbury.

Saurer was previously at FOX21 News as a multimedia journalist and weekend anchor, and has spent the past year as a multimedia journalist at our sister station, FOX31 News in Denver.

Saurer graduated from Colorado State University, joining her first station in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where she spent a couple of years doing political reporting and learning about Wyoming. Saurer then joined the FOX21 News team, where she found a love for covering stories about veterans and her community.

Saurer joined Kilbury for the first time as Evening anchor on Tuesday, April 8, for the 4:30 p.m. show.

“I am so excited to be back in Colorado Springs,” said Saurer. “It’s been a journey being in Denver, it’s been a great journey, but so excited to be back, of course, with you guys. The team here is just incredible.”
