(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Raising Cane’s is joining forces with the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) to not only celebrate a birthday but support the shelter.
This year, Raising Cane’s continues to celebrate its golden birthday, a tradition that began on Aug. 28, 2024. The company is staying true to its long-standing commitment to community support by releasing its Golden Plush Puppy on Wednesday, March 19.
The Plush Puppy is based on founder Todd Graves’ beloved yellow lab and the namesake for Raising Cane’s. The plush celebrates 28 years of Raising Cane’s after the brand was founded in 1996. The limited edition plush will be available through April 29 while supplies last. The net proceeds from in-restaurant sales will be donated to HSPPR.
Raising Cane’s Plush Puppy initiative is an annual tradition and has raised over $2 million to date for community dog parks, no-kill rescues, and animal shelters across the U.S. The Golden Plush Puppy initiative is part of the chain’s pledge to give back $30 million to local communities in 2025. Over the past 28 years, the brand has donated more than $140 million to over 30,000 local organizations and nonprofits through its nearly 900 restaurants.
