(COLORADO) — The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) along with the Colorado Department of Revenue (DOR) have issued an advisory after identifying contaminated Retail Marijuana Flower.
According to CDPHE, the flower was produced and sold by Medpharm Holdings, LLC d.b.a. Bud & Mary’s Cannabis. CDPHE said the marijuana was deemed a threat to public health and safety after it was found to have total yeast and mold above the acceptable limits.
Those who have purchased marijuana from impacted stores should destroy it or return it to the regulated marijuana store from where it was bought for proper disposal.
If you experience adverse health effects after consuming the impacted marijuana you should seek medical attention immediately and report the event to the Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) by submitting a MED reporting form.
