COLORADO SPRINGS — An “immediate evacuation” has been issued for everyone who lives in The Farm subdivision due to a grassfire that began early afternoon on Friday.

CSFD has noted there is “heavy fire in heavy fuels.” Crews say smoke and wind is making it difficult to approximate the size of this fire.

Crews are beginning to alert homeowners in the area of The Farm development, located between I-25 northbound and Voyager Parkway.

Multiple units are assisting. CSFD has asked drivers to avoid the area.
