(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Colorado Springs Utilities (Springs Utilities) said an intersection near downtown Colorado Springs will be closed for 36 hours due to a gas leak.
Springs Utilities posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) that the intersection at West Bijou Street and North Spruce Street will be closed while crews repair a natural gas leak. A detour is required for those traveling west on W. Bijou St.

The closure is expected to last around a day and a half, and drivers are urged to use caution during the closure.
