(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The City of Colorado Springs is planning to close lanes of Pikes Peak Avenue starting Wednesday, Oct. 8, through the next week as part of the Tejon Revitalization Project.
According to the City, crews will be installing underground traffic signal conduit at the intersection of Pikes Peak Avenue and Tejon Street. To safely complete the work, partial closures of Pikes Peak Ave. began on Wednesday, Oct. 8. In a post on the City’s Facebook page, the City states that once work is completed on the westbound lanes, eastbound Pikes Peak Ave. will close.
The City advises drivers to follow all posted detours, watch for signage, and respect the cone zones.
