(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — Construction on Loy Creek Road in Woodland Park will begin on Monday, June 24.
Repairs will take place on Loy Creek Road between the Rampart Range Road loop. The project is set to repair a section of the roadway and improve drainage on Loy Creek.
The project is expected to be completed in approximately two weeks, weather permitting, for the first phase of construction.
After initial improvements, the road will be reopened for a couple of weeks to assess if the repair is working and will be closed again for one week to complete asphalt paving.
The closure will be closed to through traffic and the only access will be to existing driveways on Loy Creek Road. Access to residents and businesses before and after the work zone along Loy Creek will still be open.
