COLORADO SPRINGS — A popular trail in Colorado Springs was closed by the city after a rockslide crashed onto it during recent storms.

It happened on a section of Palmer Red Rock Loop Trail – also known as “Section 16” – in the Red Rock Canyon Open Space.

Park leaders say the rockslide destroyed a trail bridge. They’re requesting people stay out of the affected area until futher notice.
