Sauce Leopard: Local company, featured on ‘Hot Ones’

(COLORADO) — Shaun Goodwin’s Sauce Leopard hot sauces are award-winning, all-natural, preservative-free condiments crafted in small batches in Denver, but are available in a handful of stores in Colorado Springs and have been featured on the popular, YouTube talk show, “Hot Ones.”

Born and raised in Oakhurst, New Jersey, Goodwin moved to Colorado 13 years ago to pursue a degree in marketing. Now, a Denver-based musician and entrepreneur with a passion for cooking, he took his hot sauce-making hobby to the next level during the pandemic.

In his first few years of business, Goodwin collected several international awards for his sauces and quickly established Sauce Leopard as a major player in the condiment industry.

Sauce Leopards’ Seventh Reaper sauce was featured on Season 18 of Hot Ones, which put them on the map locally and internationally and has been a major selling point to new customers.

The Seventh Reaper sauce also won first place for Latin-style sauce at Zest Fest in Dallas and also took first for the Extra Spicy Sauce category in the International Flavor Awards.

Goodwin’s other sauce, The Bird Blood, a cranberry habanero sauce that makes a great addition to meals, also took first for the Mild Sauce category in the Old Boney awards in California.
