(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — A shelter-in-place has been issued for a neighborhood north of Falcon due to a gas leak.

According to a Peak Alert issued by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO) shortly before 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, a shelter-in-place has been issued for the following area:

The Peak Alert stated that the gas leak is happening near Londonderry Drive and Liberty Grove Drive. Neighbors are urged to stay indoors, close doors and windows, and turn off heating and cooling systems. Do not use open flames or anything that could cause a spark.
