(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A shooting at a house party in Colorado Springs injured two people overnight, according to police.

On Sunday, Jan. 21 just after 12:30 a.m., the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) was called to the shooting, which happened in the 5300 block of Kingscote Drive, near Platte and Powers.

When officers arrived, they found one man with a gunshot wound and police said a short time later, a boy who was also shot, showed up at an urgent care.

Both are expected to survive their injuries, according to CSPD.

Upon investigating, officers discovered the two victims were at a house party in the area when a disturbance escalated and led to the shooting.
