(WOODLAND PARK, Colo.) — One person was injured in an alleged shooting in the parking lot of the City Market in Woodland Park, according to the Woodland Park Police Department (WPPD).

WPPD posted on Facebook at around 6:45 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29 saying officers were working on a reported shooting at the City Market parking lot located at 777 Gold Hill Place South off of Highway 24.

Officers found a single adult with injuries who was taken to the hospital, at the time of posting a suspect was being detained.
