(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Friday, Nov. 15 the City of Colorado Springs will host the Acacia Holiday Celebration and the return of Skate in the Park.
The event is family-friendly, free, and open to the public. The event will feature pictures with Santa, a small ceremony with remarks from Mayor Yemi Mobolade and Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services Director Britt Haley, food and beverage trucks, a special U.S. Figure Skating performance, bell ringers, and more.

The event also kicks off Skate in the Park which happens on Fridays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets to Skate in the Park are $13 and include a skate rental. Children 4 and under are free with a paid adult and a $1 discount is available for those with a valid military or first responder ID.
