(FORT CARSON, Colo.) — Smoke is visible from a fire burning in a training area on Fort Carson on Friday, Feb. 7, though the Mountain Post said no buildings are threatened currently.

According to Fort Carson, the fire is burning in a training area south of post. With the high wind conditions, the community can expect to see lots of smoke.

Fort Carson could not provide an acreage yet, though fire crews were just arriving on scene around 3 p.m. Friday.
