(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The City of Colorado Springs said due to weather and a crash a scheduled closure in southern Colorado Springs will be extended by one day, Monday, July 8 into Tuesday, July 9.
According to the City, a scheduled closure of South Nevada Avenue between Brookside Street and I-25 will happen for one more night on Monday at 9 p.m. and will go through Tuesday at 5 a.m.
The City said the closure will allow crews to move construction barriers from northbound interior lanes to outside lanes.
Traffic is advised to take alternate routes.
