(SOUTHERN COLORADO) — Southern Colorado’s Remarkable Woman recently shared her experience of traveling to Los Angeles for the national celebration organized by Nexstar Media Group.
Melissa Stapanowich was chosen by FOX21 News as Southern Colorado’s Remarkable Woman at the beginning of April, and this past week, she took part in the 2025 Remarkable Women trip.
125 women, including Stapanowich, were treated to a luxury stay at the Loews Hollywood Hotel; they were also given an exclusive tour of Hollywood, treated to a red carpet awards show, and took part in a behind-the-scenes experience at the Jennifer Hudson Show.
Stapanowich shared her experience of the celebration with FOX21 News on Friday, April 18.
I wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks for the incredible opportunity to be recognized as a local market winner for the Remarkable Women award and to travel to Los Angeles for the national celebration.
The experience was thoughtfully curated and truly unforgettable—from the Hollywood-style events to the meaningful connections with other honorees. I left not only inspired by the powerful stories of the women around me, but also deeply refreshed and reinvigorated in the work that I do.
This recognition and the chance to be part of something so special has sparked new energy and vision for the path ahead. I am immensely grateful to your team for making it possible and for supporting women who are striving to make a difference in their communities.
