Sport standouts inducted into Colorado Springs Hall of Fame

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Tuesday, Oct. 22, the Broadmoor World Arena hosted the Colorado Springs Sports Hall of Fame event and induction.

The 2024 inductees include:

Olympic Gold medalist and now mixed martial artist, Henry Cejudo

Colorado College volleyball coach, Rick Swan

Known as one of the best female players in the country, St. Mary’s golfer, Lauren Howe

WNBA player and first player in program history to record 1,600 points, Chucky Jeffery

USA Hockey coach, Lou Vairo

U.S. Air Force Academy Superintendent and College Football Playoff Executive Director, General Richard Clark

The mighty 1983 Coronado High School Girls’ Volleyball State Champions, who truly set the bar for excellence

The magnificent 1997 Sierra High School Boys’ Basketball State Champions

The event was first introduced in 2000 by the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation.
