COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to a small outside fire Wednesday morning in the 3600 block of El Morro Road, which is located east of S Academy Blvd and El Morro Road.

CSFD sent Engine 11 where crews found a fence and tree on fire behind homes.

The department notes that even though temperatures dropped Wednesday, higher winds are expected and fire can spread quickly.
