(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — The Stratmoor Hills Fire Protection District is hosting its annual Stratmoor Hills Community Water Games on Saturday, June 28, featuring family-friendly fun and splashes in the sun.
The event will feature a water slide, over 6,000 water balloons, a bounce house, free squirt guns for the first 150 children, and tasty hot dogs. Guests will also have the chance to meet firefighters and check out firefighting equipment and apparatus.
“We love our Stratmoor Hills community, and this event is a wonderful opportunity for our members to meet our residents and show our appreciation for their support”, said Fire Chief Shawn Bittle. “Many of our calls for service are from residents in times of an emergency. The water games are a good time to engage with each other in a fun and relaxed environment.”
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and will take place at the Stratmoor Hills Park at 415 Sinton Avenue, near Crestridge Avenue, in Stratmoor Hills.
