(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Based on the success of last year’s sunrise train experiences, the Broadmoor has released a schedule for 2024.
The Broadmoor said the sunrise train rides are a special way to enjoy the Pikes Peak Cog Railway‘s scenic views.
“Early risers can again take advantage of enjoying the comfort of the cog to reach the summit and capture this magical moment,” shared Ted Johnston, railway manager. “It’s a wonderful way to experience the morning beauty of Colorado in an accessible way.”
There are four dates scheduled for the 2024 sunrise train rides:
July 21: National Parks and Recreation Day
August 1: Colorado Appreciation Day
September 11: Remembrance Day
October 14: Indigenous Peoples Day
Tickets are $99 per person and a portion of ticket sales will benefit the Manitou Springs community.
According to the Broadmoor, if, for some reason, trains cannot summit due to weather, they will go as far as possible to enjoy the sunrise.
