(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC will make a “major announcement” on Wednesday, Feb. 5 concerning the team’s future.

According to a press release from the Switchbacks, the announcement will be made at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Switchbacks’ home, Weidner Field. The team did not provide any additional details about the announcement, but said it will concern “the future of the team.”

In 2024, Switchbacks FC were crowned USL Champions after the Saturday, Nov. 23 victory over Rhode Island FC.
