(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Thursday, July 18, the biggest foodie event of the year returns to Downtown with the 27th Taste of Pikes Peak. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., more than 50 of the best restaurants, breweries, and distilleries in Colorado Springs offer unlimited tastes of their most popular bites and brews.
Taste of Pikes Peak offers an opportunity for restaurants, beverage suppliers, and food enthusiasts to come together and showcase the dynamic food scene of the Pikes Peak region. Local favorites such as Rasta Pasta, Phantom Canyon, Bristol Brewing Company, and Third Space Coffee will join dozens of other vendors to hand out samples of their best offerings.
The event is the primary fundraiser for the Pikes Peak Chapter of the Colorado Restaurant Association, supporting essential programs like the Colorado Restaurant Foundation and the ProStart programs in regional high schools.
Taste of Pikes Peak takes place at the intersection of West Vermijo Avenue and South Sierra Madre Street, directly in front of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Museum in Downtown Colorado Springs.
VIP access, which includes an additional hour of private tastes and access to the VIP lounge, begins at 5 p.m., and General Admission starts at 6 p.m. Music will be provided by the popular music duo, the Reminders, who will be playing on the main stage beginning at 7 p.m.
General Admission is $65 per person and includes unlimited tastes and the Reminders concert. VIP is $85, and children ages five to 12 cost $20. Tickets can be purchased at the event website linked above.
