TCA avenges loss to Mountain View to claim first ever flag football championship

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The TCA Titans flag football team secured a decisive 34-0 victory over Mountain View on Saturday, October 25th, to claim their first-ever state title. It comes just one year after losing to the Mountain Lions in the inaugural 4A flag football championship.

Kelsey Peterson set the tone early for the Titans, connecting with Ellie Baldini, leading Reagan Harter, and catching the opening touchdown.

The Titans’ defense was relentless, as Brooklyn Blair was instrumental in securing three interceptions that set up further scoring opportunities for the Titans.

Peterson continued to lead the charge offensively, tossing to Ryann Ferguson twice to extend the Titans’ lead to 21-0 by halftime. Ferguson would catch three in total.
