(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A tech company is celebrating their growth in the Pikes Peak Region by showcasing its new Garden of the Gods facility.
KBR supports U.S. National Security missions, including Golden Dome, space domain awareness, and space access with an emphasis on employing veterans. The Garden of the Gods location is one of six offices around Colorado Springs.
KBR said the 17,000 square-foot, high-tech facility is a reflection of its expanding footprint in the national security arena, as well as its growing influence in the global space community.
“We want to just, showcase that growth in Colorado Springs, our presence here, our new office, and really highlighting what KBR does well, which is People Solutions, where we bring veterans and highly cleared folks that have a lot of military experience into the defense business environment, and doing a lot of rapid hardware and software prototyping that really moves the mission forward,” said Brian Young, VP of the Space Operations Division at KBR.
This facility is also home to KBR’s premier space domain product Iron Stallion–used by the Space Force to track satellites and provide real-time data for analysts and decision-makers.
City-wide, KBR employs more than 650 people.
