(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Halal Guys is expanding its footprint within Colorado with the opening of its first Colorado Springs location on Saturday, Feb. 22.
The Halal Guys was founded in 1990 by three Egyptian immigrants who initially started a hot dog cart but transitioned to American Halal dishes. The chain has since expanded with more than 400 new restaurants in development worldwide.
The Halal Guys said on Saturday the new location located at 1840 Democracy Point near Voyager Parkway and Interquest Parkway will open with a celebration featuring giveaways, free food, music, and more. The first 100 guests will get a free platter, and all who attend and download the restaurant’s app will be entered to win merch and prizes including a 55-inch TV, laptops, Bose headphones, portable speakers, a Nintendo Switch, and more.
“Every new location we open represents more than just growth; it’s about bringing The Halal Guys’ signature flavors and welcoming atmosphere to new communities, one location at a time,” said Margaret Carrera, Chief Development Officer at The Halal Guys. “Our two other locations in Colorado, in Aurora and Denver, have done exceptionally well, so we’re thrilled to be able to bring our fresh American Halal cuisine to more residents, extending our presence in Colorado!”
The new Colorado Springs location will feature The Halal Guys’ signature menu of authentic American Halal dishes along with all-new chicken wings tossed in BBQ sauce. Dessert options include baklava, cheesecake, and chocolate chip cookies.
The Colorado Springs location is the third in Colorado with one in Aurora and another in Denver.
