DENVER (KDVR) — Former President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit Colorado for a high-dollar fundraising dinner this weekend.
Trump is set to give remarks at the dinner in Aspen on Saturday, according to a fundraising page from the Trump 47 Committee. The specific event location is not listed.
A flyer posted by The Republican Party of Orange County, in California, lists several hosts:
Former Ambassador Duke Buchan III and Hannah Buchan
Mindy and Jeff Hildebrand
Warren Lichtenstein
Andrew McKenna
Drew McKnight
Carol and Larry A. Mizel
Amy and John Phelan
Diane and Tom Smith
Attendees can give or raise money to attend: $500,000 per couple to join the host committee, $100,000 per couple to co-host and $25,000 per couple to attend.
The Trump 47 Committee, the joint fundraising group behind the event, includes Donald J. Trump for President 2024, the Save America PAC, the Republican National Committee and state GOPs in more than four dozen states — not including Colorado, according to the flyer.
This appears to be Trump’s first visit campaign to Colorado since a February 2020 rally in Colorado Springs.
