(FOUNTAIN, Colo.) — A new UCHealth Primary Care clinic opened on Tuesday, Feb. 4, in Fountain, bringing access to additional health services closer to home for the community.
The clinic is located at 6161 Timber Rail Point, near Mesa Ridge Parkway and Syracuse Street in Fountain. The clinic will be able to accommodate up to five medical providers and care for 8,500 patients through in-person and virtual primary care services.
Hollie Reda, PA-C, is the first provider to care for patients at the new facility, with a second provider joining in March. Reda has worked with urgent care clinics in both metro Denver and Colorado Springs and has been with UC Health since 2019. Reda focuses on proper nutrition as preventative medicine and treatment for chronic conditions and common health ailments.
“Urgent care medicine has been rewarding, as I have had the opportunity to help patients when they feel their sickest, but I don’t have a chance to get to know my patients in-depth,” said Reda. “I am excited to transition to primary care because I look forward to building a long-term relationship with each one of my patients. I would like to partner with each patient in their health journey and help them live their life to the fullest.”
The clinic will also offer help to patients dealing with anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges through an integrated behavioral health care specialist.
“UCHealth is excited to be able to provide comprehensive primary care close to home for the residents of Fountain and southern El Paso County, and we hope to make a meaningful impact on the well-being and health of the entire community,” said Dr. Alex Constantinides, UCHealth’s Medical Director of Primary Care for the Pikes Peak region. “Our providers also will be able to coordinate care with specialists throughout UCHealth, helping to ensure patients have a clear path to the treatment they need.”
The clinic is accepting new patients and will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. To schedule an in-office appointment or video appointment, call (719) 365-0110 or log in to UCHealth’s My Health Connection portal and click on the Appointments tab.
