The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) said the technical issue has been resolved and all services are fully operational.

The DMV said the cause of the outage is under investigation and thanked the community for their patience and understanding during the disruption.

(COLORADO) — The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) said a technical issue is impacting all state and county driver license offices.

The DMV said impacted services include; the issuance and renewal of driver’s licenses, ID cards, and instruction permits. Online driver’s license and ID services are also being impacted by the outage.

Knowledge tests for instruction permits, endorsements and commercial driver’s license permits, motor vehicle records, and requests for a hearing are services still available to the public.

County motor vehicle offices and transactions are not impacted by the outage, according to the DMV.

Currently, there is no timeline for when in-office and online services will be restored. The DMV will post updates to its social media pages and DMV.Colorado.gov/locations.

The DMV is reaching out to anyone with an appointment at an office today to reschedule their appointment or offer alternative services.
