(COLORADO SPRINGS) — According to the Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) the grass fire at 290 East Woodmen Road is under control and crews are working on hot spots.

The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) said crews were on the scene of a grass fire in the afternoon hours of Tuesday, June 18. CSFD said the fire was at 290 East Woodmen Road near I-25.
The Colorado Springs Police & Fire Communications Center is asking drivers to avoid the area and added that E. Woodmen Rd. is closed from Chapel Lane to Woodmen Court due to the fire.
