UPDATE: Fire on Fort Carson, CSFD requested for mutual aid

(FORT CARSON, Colo.) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) sent out a correction on X (formally known as Twitter) that there is a fire happening on Fort Carson that is causing a lot of smoke to be visible from most of the city.

CSFD has been requested for mutual aid. “This is not in city limits at this time,” wrote CSFD.

The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) said that the smoke visible from most of the city is from Fort Carson, on Thursday, March 28.
