The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) provided an update on the fight that happened at Mountain Vista School, causing a lockdown.
CSPD said a little before 11 a.m., police were called to Mountain Vista School for a physical disturbance. According to police, several families had issues outside of the school, and a fight involving around six to eight people broke out.
Mountain Vista School was placed on lockdown briefly while officers got the scene under control. CSPD said some minor injuries were reported, and police believe everyone involved has been accounted for.
At this time, no charges have been announced. The lockdown was lifted, and students were released to their parents.

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) tells FOX21 News that a fight between parents has placed the school on lockdown while authorities investigate.
On Thursday, May 22, at around 11:20 a.m. FOX21 received information from CSPD that said a physical disturbance happened at Mountain Vista School in Southeast Colorado Springs. CSPD told FOX21 News it appeared “some parents got into a fight of some sort.” At the time, CSPD does not believe weapons were involved, but the school is on lockdown.
