(U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo.) — The U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA) is alerting the public about anticipated noise and smoke during its annual Pep Rally on Friday, Oct. 31.

USAFA said the morale-builder is ahead of Saturday’s game against the U.S. Military Academy West Point at Falcon Stadium.

The event is closed to the public, but the school spirit bonfire may be visible as far as I-25. Attendees and those living in the area nearby should expect periods of loud noise and smoke during the event between about 5 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Academy firefighters and response vehicles will be present as a safety precaution.
