(COLORADO SPRINGS) — USGA senior director of Championships Ben Kimball expects the 45th annual U.S. Senior Open at The Broadmoor to be the most competitive of its kind.

Kimball says the move from a one-stage to a two-stage qualifying process makes for a stronger pool of players.

The U.S. Senior Open tees off June 26-29.
